They Think That You Don’t Know, But I Know That You Do!

Micah 6:8
New King James Version
8 He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?

Anthony Oliver is a man who just seemed to burst on the scene from out of no where. His song, Rich Men North Of Richmond, has taken America by storm. The song reached number 1 on the charts almost immediately. This was completely unheard of by someone who has never been in the music industry. This song is more than just a song. It is a message to the people of the world. The bible tells us that God uses the foolish things of this world to deliver his message. Another way to put that is that he uses the simple things of this world. Those who have problems with this message have a tendency to believe that they are intellectually better than everyone else and that they know what is better for you than you do.

I have watched the reactions of many people who have reviewed this song. And for the most part all the those reactions have been unanimous. The timing of this song is very key to its success. People are listening not only to this song, but his song, I Want To Go Home, as well. Both of these songs have struck a nerve like no other song has before. This is because people are frustrated and tired. They are tired of being beaten down and manipulated by a system that wants to divide them, take advantage of them and enslave them.

This song is not about one party. It is about all political parties. Especially the Democratic and Republican Parties. It is about the establishment. It is about the elitist of the world who are using these politicians to gain more control over people’s lives. It is about a corrupt judicial system who is no longer unbiased but have sold their souls to the highest bidder. It is about a corrupt law enforcement system who has become nothing but the strong arm of the corrupt system. It is about a corrupt media who has become nothing but a controlled mouth peice for the corruption. Every one of these groups have sold theirs souls to those who have sold their souls.

“And they don’t think that you know, but I know that you do.”

Let that statement sink in for a bit. Every word in Oliver Anthony’s  song, Rich Men North Of Richmond, goes right to the heart of what is going on, not just in America, but the entire world.

The puppet masters of this world have been doing the bidding of their master for thousands of years. And although they have modified their tactics, their goals have remained the same. Total control of the world. Their tactic of divide and conquer has been the same since their master first used is to turn a third of the angles away from God and to do the same with man in the Garden of Eden.

“And they don’t think that you know, but I know that you do”

And God knows that you know.

Romans 1:18-32

NKJV

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

“They don’t think that you know, but I know that you do.”

God has given us another wake-up call through Anthony Oliver. He has delivered this message in such a way that it is very clear. But the reaction of some is that it is nothing but an anthem to one party or the other. Those people are offended and the reason is because this song is all about them. But God’s message is,

“You don’t think that I know that you know, but I know that you do.”

As I stated earlier, people are tired. That is why Anthony Olivers song, I Want To Go Home, is so popular. God knows people are getting weary. And he is offering rest to anyone who will respond to him. But that rest only comes through Jesus. That is the path God laid out right after Satan placed that wedge of sin between God and man. It was not just Satan though. Man helped with that wedge. But that did not prevent God from putting his plan in place for the restoration of man into his kingdom. But just like the personal choice that was made to place that wedge, the personal choice has to be made to remove it. God is telling you, I know, and you know that I know. Stop buying into the lies that I don’t. Stop buying into the lies that are dividing you from not only me but others as well. Stop buying into the lies that cause you to want to be something other than what I created you to be. A child of God. That is what the rich men north of Richmond and their puppet masters are trying to keep you from realizing. But God will have one final message for them.

Matthew 7:21-23

NKJV

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Matthew 25:31-46

NKJV

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Lord, we all want to go home. Give us to rest that we so desperately seek. The rest that can only come from you. Help us to realize that there is no rest without total surrender to you. Help us to also realize that those who have sold their souls to those who have sold their souls are dividing us with a fear that does not come from you. And help us to stand firm in you.

Lord protect this man and help him to hold on to you.
